Hi Crafters!!

I'm excited to post my first project as a Design Team Member at Hiding In My Craft Room challenges blog.
Today i'm sharing a card i have created using a digital image form this week's sponsor Pickled Potpourri.

you can check their awesome designs on their website http://www.pickled-potpourri.com.

so i thought i would do something different with their digital image today - i have been really inspired lately by scrapbookers using cut files and altering them to use in their project. So rather than printing out the digital images, i have imported a Leaf image into my Silhouette Cameo software and have created 2 images - 1 a solid background and 1 outline. I have then made multiple copies of them and cut them out from white cardstock

I've used regular watercolour set i have to colour in the solid leaves directly on my Cutting mat to make it easier (it does not ruin the mat!)

I've left the outline white and layered the white pieces on top of the coloured leaves to create own embellishments.

Then i have done a similar thing with my sentiment. I have cut out with my manual diecutting machine the sentiment "with love" out of paper i have coloured in with my watercolours. I have also cut 2 more copies of the same thing out of white cardstock and layered them all on top of each other for dimension and a bit of a white border/ shadow.

I have layered the leaves i made onto some white cardstock and white card base, added my sentiment and sprinkled some sequens. Voila - the card is done!

Don't forget to check out the challenge on Hiding in My Craft Room website! Good Luck!
