Project Life Week 21 2015 Process

I have created another Project Life page using Studio Calico Carolina Moon kit form May 2015.

I have altered the top left card (which used to be pink with flowers) using Spray Ink and Embossing Powders to change the card and colour as i didn't like the design on the card before! I have also altered the May 2015 chipboard piece with 2 types of gold embossing power.

If you have any questions on techniques or products i've used, contact me via my Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/JuliasArtOfCreating/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel

or leave me a comment in YouTube below the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aw9JnPMjndc

Project Life Week 18 2015

Another video is up on my YouTube Channel.

I'm still catching up on my 2015 album - 10 PL pages have been completed on the weekend and i have caught up right up to June! (an improvement for me!)

I'm trying to keep the pages simple and use kits to get through the backlog as quickly as possible so that i can start on 2016 album and maybe spend some more time on the pages and personalise cards a bit more as and when i have time.

enjoy!

Project Life Layout (12x12 size).

In this one i have decided to use an old (old!) kit (i think it is from Flying Unicorn Store if i'm not mistaken) - i've been saving it for a long time as it is a bit Autumn theme and i just kept missing the "right" time of year.

This time i was prepared! i have put it aside waiting for the Autumn to come and finally cracked it open when i got to Autumn photos!

Love the colours in this kit, so many "pearl" finish papers is it, just yummy!

i think pink and aqua speaks Autum-like right?

love the colours, embellishments and letters, letters are amazing, i'm almost out of all usable ones.

hope you like this page and if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch!

Christmas Card Process #2

I have another video today showing the process of creating a Christmas card - first time for me creating a "horizontal" style and i'm quite happy with how it turned out. I got to use up some of the scraps i had left over from Swirlydoos kit, especially a piece of wide ribbon which just happened to be a perfect size :D

Christmas Card Process #1

Here is my latest process video of a Christmas Card i have created.

I have used Canvas textured paper, which i have never done before - there are a few tricks to keep in mind while using this type of paper (you need strong adhesive and if you are using water based ink, it soaks it up differently to cardstock so takes more effort to achieve a brighter colour).

Hope you enjoy the video and as always if you have any questions, feel free to get in contact.
